Case study · International logistics
BriCargo Group website redesign & SEO case study.
From an Africa-focused freight identity to a global logistics brand built to win international business.
BriCargo Group evolved from Africa United Logistics, a freight company that had already built organic visibility but whose identity no longer represented the wider markets it wanted to serve. The goal was not simply a new name or a better-looking website. The business wanted to become a genuinely global logistics brand.
Webbies repositioned the brand, rebuilt the website, supported the domain and SEO migration, reorganized the site around services and international destinations, and continues to manage BriCargo's SEO growth. After the repositioning, BriCargo reported lead volume at roughly three times its previous typical level, while organic search traffic increased 200% month over month during the tracked growth period.
The geographic mix changed too. BriCargo now reports inbound opportunities from markets including Dubai, London, across Europe and other international locations—the kind of global demand the repositioning was intended to create.
The starting point
A growing freight company had outgrown its regional identity but not the search value it had already earned.
Africa United Logistics had established organic visibility around freight and destination searches, particularly in African shipping markets. That visibility mattered. The problem was that the brand increasingly suggested a narrower geographic business than the company wanted to become.
The next stage was international. BriCargo wanted to compete for freight enquiries across Europe, the Middle East and other global markets while keeping its established capabilities and search equity intact.
That made the project more complicated than a traditional rebrand. The company needed a broader identity, a new website and domain, a scalable international search structure and an ongoing SEO strategy capable of helping the new brand become discoverable beyond the markets associated with Africa United Logistics.
- Existing search foundation
- Freight and destination pages had already developed organic visibility before the rebrand.
- Broader business direction
- The company wanted a brand and website capable of competing across global logistics markets.
- International search journeys
- Services, destinations and commercial freight needs required clearer paths into the site.
The constraint: expand the brand's geographic perception without abandoning the organic visibility the previous business had already built.
What we found
The rebrand changed more than a name. It changed how the website had to work.
Brand positioning, domain migration, existing organic visibility, service structure, destination coverage and the enquiry journey were connected. Improving one while ignoring the others could create a better-looking website without creating a better growth platform.
Existing search value could not simply be discarded
Relevant freight and destination content already had visibility. The migration needed to determine what should continue, what should change and how useful existing coverage should fit into the new BriCargo structure.
The brand itself was limiting the perception of the business
Africa United Logistics reflected an important part of the company's history, but it no longer represented where the business wanted to compete. The digital presence needed to communicate international capability before a prospect ever requested a quote.
Services and destinations needed clearer roles
A customer shipping machinery, vehicles, pallets or household cargo may begin with a service need, a destination or both. The website needed clearer pathways between those searches and the right information.
The architecture had to remain scalable
The business could not rebuild its website every time another destination or freight opportunity became important. New markets needed to fit into a repeatable structure rather than becoming disconnected pages.
One connected international growth system
The rebrand, website and SEO architecture were rebuilt around the global company BriCargo wanted to become.
Webbies treated brand positioning, website design, domain migration and search architecture as one connected transformation. The objective was to make BriCargo understandable as a broader international logistics company while building a site capable of supporting continuing SEO expansion after launch.
What changed
The site became a stronger bridge between shipment needs, destination searches and qualified enquiries.
Reposition the business around global logistics
The BriCargo Group identity moved the brand beyond the narrower geographic associations of Africa United Logistics and created a clearer foundation for international growth.
Rebuild around clearer service pathways
The website was reorganized so freight services, destinations and supporting information could be understood more easily by prospective customers and search engines.
Carry useful search value into the new structure
Existing pages were reviewed during the brand and domain transition. Relevant content could be retained, reorganized or mapped into the new website rather than assuming every old URL or topic should disappear.
Turn SEO into an ongoing international growth channel
The launch was the beginning of the search program, not the end. Webbies continues expanding destination coverage, internal connections and commercially useful freight content as BriCargo enters additional markets.
The website was designed so BriCargo would not require another rebuild whenever a new route or country became commercially important. The structure created during the repositioning became the foundation for the SEO program that followed.
Business growth after repositioning
The brand started attracting the international demand it was rebuilt to pursue.
The strongest evidence is not simply a larger search footprint. After the repositioning, BriCargo reported substantially higher lead volume and a broader geographic mix of enquiries, while Webbies' continuing SEO work helped expand the new domain's organic visibility.
BriCargo reports receiving roughly three times the lead volume it typically received before the website and brand were repositioned.
BriCargo now reports enquiries from markets including Dubai, London, across Europe and other international locations. That matters because expanding the company's geographic reach and perception was one of the central reasons for becoming BriCargo Group in the first place.
Google Search Console recorded 506 clicks and 34,300 impressions during BriCargo's first three months, showing that the new property was establishing its own search footprint after the transition.
BriCargo's lead-volume and enquiry-location figures are first-party business observations. Search figures reflect observed organic performance. Brand repositioning, website changes, ongoing SEO, market demand and other business factors can all influence lead and traffic growth; the results are not presented as a guarantee or as proof that any one change caused every increase.
SEO after the launch
The new website gave BriCargo somewhere to grow. Ongoing SEO keeps expanding where it can be found.
Webbies continues managing BriCargo's organic search program after the rebrand and website launch, expanding international route visibility, strengthening commercially useful freight content and connecting new destination opportunities into the wider site.
Ongoing international SEO program
The digital foundation became infrastructure for new routes, new services and new search demand.
These markets are examples of the continuing SEO program rather than a complete list of BriCargo destinations. Recently changed route pages remain under performance monitoring, so short-term ranking movement is not used here as a headline case-study result.
What the project demonstrates
The strongest rebrand did more than change how BriCargo looked. It changed where the business could compete.
Africa United Logistics already had experience and organic visibility. The challenge was to transform that foundation into a brand capable of representing a genuinely international logistics business. BriCargo Group provided the broader identity; the website created the infrastructure; and continuing SEO has helped the company build visibility across new markets.
The result is not simply a global-looking website. BriCargo now reports materially higher lead volume and enquiries arriving from markets such as Dubai, London, across Europe and other international locations—evidence that the business is reaching beyond the narrower geographic perception it started with.
That is the type of transformation Webbies approaches through connected Web Design & Development, SEO & Local Search and Branding & Creative: position the business clearly, build the digital infrastructure around that position, then continue growing the visibility that brings the right audience into it.
