The Challenge
Making Virtual Healthcare Services Easier to Find
The clinic offered healthcare services online, but its website needed a clearer structure and a stronger organic search foundation. Patients were searching for specific services, conditions, practitioners, and appointment options, yet the website was not capturing the full range of relevant search demand.
The challenge was not simply increasing traffic. The website needed to appear for more useful searches, clearly explain available services, and create a more direct path from a Google search to the appropriate healthcare page.
A Website and SEO Strategy Built Around Patient Search Behaviour
We improved the website around the questions and services patients were actively searching for. The work combined website structure, technical SEO, service-focused content, search optimization, and ongoing performance monitoring.

The Results
Google Search Clicks More Than Tripled Within Four Months
Search performance grew steadily through the summer of 2023 before accelerating in September. Monthly clicks increased from approximately 2,580 in May to approximately 8,800 in September, while impressions increased from 116,000 to approximately 283,000.

By October 2023, Semrush estimated that the website was attracting approximately 9,927 monthly organic visits. The domain had 162 keywords ranking in Google’s top three positions and another 825 ranking between positions four and ten.

The Growth Came From Improving the Whole Search Journey
The campaign worked because the website, content, technical foundation, and search strategy were improved together. Instead of focusing on isolated keyword rankings, we expanded the number of useful entry points through which patients could discover the clinic and understand its services.
Clearer pages helped Google interpret the website more accurately, while stronger internal connections helped users move between related services and appointment information. Continuous performance monitoring allowed us to build on pages gaining traction and correct issues before they limited growth.

By the end of the engagement, Virtual Health Clinic had developed substantially greater organic visibility, broader keyword coverage, and a more effective website structure for reaching people searching for healthcare services online.
