Custom page planning, content and design
We define each important page’s job, organize the navigation and decide where service details, work examples and contact options belong. Custom layouts bring that structure into your visual identity, with desktop and mobile considered together.
Website copy can be included for agreed pages. Useful existing material is reviewed and retained where appropriate; a redesign does not automatically mean starting the content again.
Everyday editing and changes that need a developer
The editing setup is agreed before development. It can support changes such as updating service text, adding a project example or publishing an article. Reusable components can keep those updates consistent where included in the build.
Changing a custom layout, adding a new function or altering how systems connect may require development work. We identify what your team can change through the agreed editing controls, what needs support and which software licences continue after launch.
Forms, bookings, ecommerce and connected tools
A useful form collects the information needed for the next action. A booking connection sends someone to the appropriate service or appointment process. An ecommerce build needs product, payment, shipping and order-handling rules to work together.
Where a customer-management integration is required, we clarify which information moves between systems, who receives it and what should happen next. We also agree how the important functions will be checked. Third-party platforms, paid plugins and custom connections are separately scoped where required.
Mobile use, loading and accessibility
The project plan identifies the checks the site needs. These can include readable text and controls on smaller screens, usable form labels, keyboard navigation and contrast, alongside oversized images or third-party tools that slow important pages.
Formal accessibility assessment and specific performance targets must be defined in the proposal. They are not established by installing a theme or describing a website as responsive.
SEO foundations and launch checks
Website scope can include descriptive titles, clear headings, useful internal links, sitemap planning, appropriate redirects and an agreed analytics setup. Launch checks cover the important pages, navigation and forms included in the project.
These foundations support a usable, understandable website. Ongoing SEO and local search involves continuing research, content and measurement and is a separate service. A new website does not guarantee a Google position or a particular number of enquiries.
